Charcoal

The charcoal is a confusing gene (in the sense that here in the UK it is a pure recessive, similar to say the violet or sapphire genes - and in the US it is considered that charcoal and ebony are the same, due to the two lines being bred together over time)

Looking like a solid black/grey chin, with the colour wrapping all the way around the body, the charcoal is a beautiful chin to behold.

The Pastel is a beige charcoal cross, with both colours showing. It basically looks like a tan, the beige colour wrapping round the belly to make it 'solid' but is a more grey brown than black/brown

A charblack is a charcoal with the black velvet influence, causing a charcoal with a nearly indistinguishable face mask and stripe. It is very hard to differentiate this from a pure charcoal

Charbrowns are a charcoal with the brown velvet influence, making them look technically like a tov tan. As with all the charcoal mutations the colour is 'softer' than its ebony equivalent.
